About Andy Kimmons

Hello, and welcome to Trauma Matters.

My name is Andy Kimmons and I am a published author that has suffered with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the age of 19 years old.  The trauma itself was 10 years early. The complexities come from what happened between those times, and after. This was over 40 years ago.

I am not a doctor or any type of medical professional, I am simply someone that has suffered with it the condition for a very long time, and still alive to talk about it. Many are not because the distress is usually much too difficult to bare, especially over long periods of time.

This website is just a place where I can share what I have learn't, how I am still alive, and the paths I took.  I hope this helps people that are suffering, but more that it helps those who know someone that is struggling and want to help.
